Reducing Tummy Fat Fast These 2 Tips Will Greatly Help You To Remove Fat From Your Waistline

Are you having trouble removing fat from your waistline? Chances are that you need to improve your diet to give your body the nutrients it needs to reduce tummy fat. Follow these important tips to get started on the new and slimmer you.

Reduce Your Refined Carbohydrates

Refined or simple carbohydrates are carbs that have gone through a process that removes the bran from the germ layer of grain. This process is done in order to give the grains a finer texture and it is also done in order to preserve it for a longer period of time. The problem is that it removes important nutrients and fiber.

Aside from being less nutritional than whole grain foods, consuming too many of these simple carbs tend to cause weight issues and limit muscle development. Try decreasing your intake of these simple carbs and replace it with protein rich foods.

Increase Your Protein

Increasing the amount of protein you eat is beneficial in many ways. Not only does your body use the protein to build lean muscle, but your body requires more energy to break down protein compared to carbohydrates. This will help to decrease inches of your waistline by reducing tummy fat.

Another benefit to eating protein is that your body will use the protein to build lean muscle which in turn will boost your metabolism. This is ideal because you will be able to burn additional calories while at rest or even sleeping just by having a faster metabolism.

Since your body requires more energy to breakdown protein it will also take longer to digest. This means that you will feel full for longer periods of time which will help you to lose weight. A recent study has demonstrated that eating a high carb meal will cause you to feel hungry faster than a meal of mostly protein. I guess it is true the saying that carbs crave carbs.

Decreasing the amount of simple carbs and increasing the amount of protein in your diet are sure fire ways to help you lose weight. Following these tips will help in reducing tummy fat and living a healthier life.

3 Proven Strategies To Improve Your Chances At Weight Loss Success

The decision to lose weight is not one that many make lightly (pardon the pun). In fact, most of the time the challenges only increase once the decision is made; past failures hinder motivation and bring about disappointment, making it harder to approach new methods with genuine enthusiasm and effort. Healthy eating and healthy food choices are the best way that these disappointments can be overcome, and it is not as challenging as you may think. If you apply the following 3 proven strategies, your weight loss efforts WILL be successful.

1. Stop Counting Calories and Count Ingredients Instead.

Let’s illustrate this point with a simple demonstration where you are faced with two potential meals. One has three ingredients: broccoli, chicken breast and baked potato. The other is a “Lean/Healthy/Smart” frozen dinner that has the same contents on the packaging, but exponentially more ingredients on the side of the box.

In the first meal, you have an example of healthy balanced nutrition proportionately composed of vitamins, proteins and carbs. More importantly, you know precisely what you’ll be eating as the contents are only three ingredients deep. Compare this to the frozen ‘healthy’ dinner which is loaded with preservatives and chemicals, and then decide for yourself which you think is better. If you ask any health expert, I guarantee you will be advised to opt for low-ingredient meals over low-calorie meals every time.

2. Stop Drinking Your Calories

Healthy eating and healthy food choices make an enormous difference in your life, but what you’re drinking can have just as profound an effect. Depending on your metabolic rate, your body requires anywhere from 1800-2400 calories/day; when you’re trying to lose weight, the quality of these calories is crucial. One can of cola contains 140 calories –if you drink three each day that’s nearly a third of some people’s recommended daily caloric intake! Be wise about the kind of energy you provide your body –sugar is the simplest and most dangerous carbohydrate around when not used properly, and soft drinks are packed with them. There is nothing wrong with water or modest amounts of milk.

3. Always Eat Consistently

Low-calorie and low-carb diets are all doomed because they neglect your body’s fundamental desire for sufficient fuel. Your body needs energy to burn fat; by lowering your calorie intake, you are effectively cutting off your body’s energy supply. Let’s be clear, hunger will never produce lasting life-changing weight loss. In fact, most people actually need to be eating more often to start seeing real results take shape. Consistent eating fuels your metabolism and improves the rate at which your body can burn fat; try to start eating 350-450 calorie meals every 3-4 hours to see what I mean.

With a little ambition and a lot of dedication, life-changing weight loss can be firmly within your grasp. Keep educating yourself so that you can avoid the mistakes millions of others have made before you. Apply these proven strategies of healthy eating and healthy food choices and your challenges will vanish!

Can You Lose Weight Without Dieting

Did you know that dieting actually has a 99% failure rate? I bet you didn’t. Despite all the media, magazines and chat show hype, dieting is actually the least effective way to lose and maintain weight. Studies show that the best way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat for good health. So yes. You can easily lose weight without dieting.

A study as recent as 2009 took two groups of people who wanted to lose weight. One group was put on a low calorie plan and the other group was told to just eat healthily. The second group could eat as much as they like but were told to eat healthy options. Fruit, vegetables, salad smoothies etc.

After one year the group who were eating for good health had by far the best results. By eating for good health they were inadvertently taking a low calorie, high nutrition route. Doing this meant they did not have to starve themselves. They did not feel the need to binge like many dieters do. They were giving their body’s all the necessary nutrients to function so calorie burning worked optimally also.

The ‘dieting’ group felt under pressure because what they could eat was heavily restricted.People in general find this style of diet very hard to stick to and as I said 99% fail before a year is up.

Other studies going back as far as 1971 questioned the value of the dieting mentality and suggested that a small reduction in calorie intake would better for weight loss in the long term. Even back then before dieting became so massively popular studies were showing that diets don’t work.

In the 1980′ and 1990’s studies showed that dieting was the cause of many eating disorders. People who had normal eating behaviors became food addicts, or binge eaters caught in a cycle of one diet failure after another. This was because of the pressure that going on a diet puts on people.

The diet mentality is one of extreme deprivation and trying to lose as much weight as fast as possible. This puts a lot of pressure on people and the body responds by slowing its calorie burning right down. So losing weight actually becomes harder and harder when on a ‘diet’. The psychological effects of depriving oneself of food create many problems also. Hence the binge eating and food addictions that dieting creates.

In answer to can you lose weight without dieting? I would say yes. Absolutely. But how can you lose weightwithout dieting? I would say give up diets for good. Start to eat for good health and you will be amazed at what happens to your body. You will be forming good habits for a lifetime so the weight loss will be permanent. You will feel no need to deprive yourself or starve. This makes success so much easier.

I came across this information about a year ago. I had failed at diets many times and I guess I was one of those people the studies were talking about. I would overeat every weekend with the thought that I was starting a diet on the Monday. I would always have given up within a couple of days. It wasn’t until I sat down and asked myself the question ‘can you lose weight without dieting? that I woke up to the truth. I researched and found out about all those studies. I then started to eat for good health. I have lost a great deal of weight and kept it off . I now realize that ‘can you lose weight without dieting’ was the best question I had ever asked my self.

Weight Loss Supplements And How They Make You Fat

If you have made the decision to lose weight and keep it off, chances are you have been exposed to a barrage of weight loss supplements over the course of your journey. While more quality information is becoming available, the weight loss industry is flexing its billion-dollar muscle as well (pardon the pun). What we have seen lately are several multi-platform campaigns that are trying to pass various ‘health’ foods and weight loss supplements as quality components of a healthy, effective and lasting weight loss program. Let’s address one of the most common ingredients in these supposed ‘beneficial’ foods: High Fructose Corn Syrup.

By now, a lot of us are aware that it is best to keep high fructose corn syrup out of your diet, but a new slew of advertisements are working to repair that image. Common claims about the food additive range from the (false) notion that it is all-natural, it is made from corn or that it is of similar or better nutritional value that typical table sugar.

It is without question that claims such as these mislead the vast majority of the public. All one has to do is look at the accelerated increase of obesity rates, diabetes and heart disease in the developed world to get an understanding of the current state of public health. There is an undeniable correlation between the occurrence of high fructose corn syrup and the increase of instances of obesity, diabetes and heart disease and this problem appears to only be getting worse as the dreadful food additive keeps popping up in more and more processed foods.

But what makes high fructose corn syrup so bad? The additive affects virtually all aspects of the way your body utilizes the energy you provide it. Let’s look at insulin to illustrate this point; your body uses insulin to regulate your blood sugar levels when they get too high. When insulin drives your blood sugar level down, it leaves you lethargic, hungry, and full of cravings. What do you think happens when you’re feeling lethargic, hungry and full of cravings? You EAT MORE! If you allow this sort of cycle to continue dramatic weight gain is inevitable, and high fructose corn syrup is one of several things that initiate this cycle.

If you want to succeed with weight loss, it’s best to forgo the vast majority of supplements, bars and shakes for as long as possible. Supplements should really only be used by people who are completely conscious for their own bodily processes and NOT by people who are looking to shed unwanted fat. Weight loss starts on a foundation of good habits and healthy food choices that satisfy both your body and mind. Nobody looking to lose weight will be satisfied psychologically with an 80g meal –give yourself time and learn the truth about real weight loss solutions!
